Instagram Tips: 3 ways to engage with your ideal client!
Be an active follower! Like 👍🏼 their posts and leave meaningful comments to encourage a discussion. When you leave genuine comment, leave it open ended so you can get a conversation going with them. Try to do this on their 3 most recent posts, so that your name pops up RIGHT away- multiple times. This will encourage them to check out your profile too!
React + respond to the stories they put up. You can send a small message about a story they posted, or even about a post they had up. Respond to poll questions, this is one of my favorite ways to connect with my ideal client in stories. Stories gets you into their DM if you respond with a comment or with an emoji, so always try to do that- not just responding to poll questions.
Find something you have in common with them. Do you both have children? Live in the same area? Enjoy drinking coffee? ☕️ Share your love to grow the relationship using the DM's or even responding to their stories where you can also relate!
